Kerastase's Oleo-Relax Line & Deets on Free Hair Treatments

I've gotta say Kerastase has become one of my favorite luxurious go-to's splurges. Yes it's pricier than other hair products sold at the drugstore but it's the type of product that really does what it says it's going to do. I've been using products from their line lately and enjoying  a much less frizzy existence.

With summer basically at our doorstep and humidity already in the house, you'll need a great 'poo and conditioner to tame your rebellious tresses. I've been loving their entire Oleo-Relax line which helps dry, coarse hair become supple and smooth.  The Bain Oleo-Relax shampoo makes my hair look glossy and feel clean and refreshed. The conditioning masque has a creamy-soupy consistency that feels silky on and totally softens the hair and adds shine and frizz-protection. After showering I've been using their Serum Oleo-Relax which controls crazy-town volume (i.e. the non-sexy kind of hair) and smooths out fly-aways and  outrageous frizzies. The oil adds a gloss and sheen that makes my hair look healthy and brings out the blackness of my hair hue.

I'm always trying to keep my locks natural (which is a mixture of wavy and straight) when it's warm out because even if I try and straighten it, it ends up looking some form of au-natural no matter what I do. If it's sticky outside, any styling effort you put in goes droops away after a few hours anyway. With the Kerastase Oleo-Relax line the natural state of my hair is enhanced.  My waves look defined, smooth and controlled-perfect for the weather we're all experiencing (which I must say I'm thrilled about). It's no surprise that the line was featured in InStyle's 2009 Summer's Best Beauty Buys list. It's heavenly on the hair and smells great. The rest of their products have also been featured on countless beauty award lists so I've already mentally prepared myself to invest in the whole line-little by little.

Kerastase is now offering complimentary blowout and hair treatment services on June 23rd in salons located in their Western state locations. All you have to do is make a very worth $10 donation to their affiliated charity: Locks of Love. If you're not on the West Coast but want snap up some of your fav products without added shipping costs, no problem. Spend $85 or more (won't be too hard) and your favorite product line ships for free. Your hair and community will love you! Enjoy peeps!
