Lauren Conrad at US Weekly's Hot Hollywood Party

Lauren Conrad looked glamorous at US Weekly's Hot Hollywood Party. She changed up her usual cascading curls with a perfectly-coiffed top knot and pumped up the look with crimson lips. As a Style honoree for the event, Conrad took the opportunity to showcase an outfit from her own upcoming Paper Crown holiday collection.

Celebrity makeup artist Amy Nadine created her gorge look using COVERGIRL products. Here's what she did and what you can do to recreate the look at home:

FACE
First Nadine applied NatureLuxe Silk Foundation in Sandstone all over her face and neck with a sponge.
Then she gave her a pretty flush with Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush in Plush Peach, first by warming it up between her fingers then swirling it on the apples of her cheeks.

EYES
Lauren is sporting her signature cat-eye winged liner using LineExact Liquid Liner in Very Black.  Starting in the inner corner it was lightly dragged across the lashline then upward and outward towards the end of her brow. Tip: the harder you press the tip, the thicker the line, so start with light pressure than gradually press harder as you travel across towards the outer corners.
Nadine followed with two coats of LashBlast Fusion Mascara in Very Black and tucked in a few individual lashes in the outer corners to complement the winged effect.

LIP
She finished with COVERGIRL LipPerfection in Tempt, a scarlet red color that she powdered for a matte look with translucent powder using an eyeshadow blending brush.

Check out looks from her new collection here.

Blake Lively Goes Red-Love it or Hate it?

Ooh gotta say I'm not loving Blake Lively's red hair transformation. She's a beautiful girl but I'll be honest a big part of that beautiful look, for me, is in her blond tresses. The 23-year-old attended Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People In the World party in New York last night. Lively scored a spot on the list for her fashion and style influence-a pretty impressive honor for the young actress. Luckily, the red locks are for a movie role ("Hick") and not the beginning of a Lindsey Lohan reverse dye job obsession.

Lively has been a fashion trendsetter since her supremely stylish show, Gossip Girl premiered. She's become a fashion darling becoming super chummy with Anna WintourKarl Lagerfeld and becoming the new face of Chanel. She's made some amazing fashion and beauty choices in the past including one of my fave looks at the MET Costume Institute Gala last year. She worked her gorge peacock blue Marchesa mini dress and looked flawless in a pulled back ponytail and smoky eyes. Her Time 100 party attire was way too Little Mermaid for me. The contrast between her aqua Zuhair Murad gown and long red cascading curls was reminiscent of Ariel.

Here's hoping the movie will wrap quickly and she'll be back to her beach blond self soon.
What do you think of Lively's new locks? Love it or hate?

Chelsy Davy's Royal Wedding Gowns Revealed!

Italian designer Alberta Ferretti revealed that she will be dressing Chelsy Davy, Prince Harry's on-off girlfriend, for Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding this Friday. Davy will wear two tailor-made dresses-one for the ceremony and one for the evening reception. Designs of both dresses have been leaked!

According to Ferretti, the gorgeous gowns both compliment Davy's eyes, hair and skin tone. For the ceremony Davy will wear the the aqua green bias reverse satin dress with an aqua green faille silk jacket with a deep boat neck and knot detail.

For the evening reception, she will change into the one-shoulder midnight blue crepe satin gown with a cut-out on the back.

Read more about the dress and Chelsy's pre-wedding shopping trips in London here. I can't wait to see Davy's outfits but let's be honest I absolutely can not wait to see Kate Middleton in her wedding gown. I have no doubt she's going to look flawless!

Check out the rest of Ferretti's Spring/Summer 2011 Collection here.

Brides Let Your Makeup Be Your “Something Blue"

Get Inspired by Princess-to-be Kate Middleton and her penchant for royal blue by getting dolled up like a blue blood for your own wedding.

Whether it’s Middleton’s iconic engagement dress or her gorgeous sapphire engagement ring, royal blue is the color to look like a princess this spring. Brides can emulate the look and feel of Middleton’s royal color of choice by letting their makeup be their “something blue”.

The bride-to-be looks radiant in the rich color, but she's certainly not the only one that can pull off the deep hue. Navy, cerulean and royal blue are extremely flattering shades on a variety of skin tones. Add a little spice to your look by incorporating the on-trend color into your bridal makeup palette with a smudgy, blue smoky eye or deep, inky manicure. Dark blues compliment darker features because they bring out the browns and warmth in the skin and eyes. Alternatively, rimming your baby blues with a dash of navy liner, no matter what your skin tone is, will instantly draw attention to your beautiful peepers. Check out a few products that are sure to make you look royally regal on your big day.

NARS Single Eyeshadow-China Blue ($23.00, Beauty.com)
This long-wearing, crease resistant shadow looks heavily pigmented in the compact, but actually has a sheer formula that can be layered for a dramatic look or applied lightly for a subtle hint of color. The shadow blends easily and can be used as a lid shade or eyeliner.

YSL Ombres 5 Lumieres-5 Colour Harmony for Eyes in Riviera ($56.00, Sephora)
This multicolored palette has powder shades as well as a creamy liner. Mix the luxe shades together to get a deep wash of color. Line your upper and lower lash line with the navy cream liner. Swirl the rest of the colors together and brush your new hue into your outer lid and crease.
Essie Nail Color in Mesmerize ($7.79, Target)
You don't need a sapphire engagement ring to draw the eye to your dainty paws. Layer a few coats of Mesmerize to dazzle and draw attention to whichever sparkler you are wearing on your day. Think how shiny your diamond will look against against this dark background. Beyond that, the tint is flattering and Essie polishes dry quickly and last long.

Sue Devitt Microquatic Hydrating Marine Minerals Eye Palette, Blue Waters ($37.50)
These gorgeous, blendable shades are long lasting and universally flattering. Key ingredients such as Sea Butter and Hylauronic Acid work together to restore your skin's natural elasticity. Minerals, vitamins and botanical substances also help absorb water and bring moisture to the skin. The ingredients works to brighten your skin and bring vitality to your natural skin tone. Also, the shades are highly pigmented so a little goes a long way.

Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in Majorelle Blue 15L ($17.00, Sephora)
Makeup Artists love this smudge-proof, water-proof pencil. No raccoon eyes here! The formula was originally created for water ballet performers! The liner glides on smoothly without melting and lasts all day. My advice? Grab a few different shades. Try the metallic royal blue and mat black for a gorge smoky eye.

Lancome Artliner Precision Point Eyeliner in Navy ($29.00, Department Stores)
The uniquely shaped-foam tip point makes for easy-to-handle and precise strokes. The tip works well to create a thick or thin line. The two film-forming polymers make the formula long-lasting and rich. Create an updated cat eye look with the navy shade with a dramatic winged out navy tip.
