Grammy's Best and Oddest Dressed!

Did you check out the Grammy Awards last night? I loved hearing Adele perform and was definitely moved by Jennifer Hudson's powerful rendition of 'I Will Always Love You' in tribute to the late, great Whitney Houson. Overall, however, I was a little underwhelmed by the entire show. Even Nicki Minaj's outrageous performance was surprisingly boring, despite the over-the-top video performance and odd exorcism. Kate Perry debuted a new song which really didn't hold a candle to the rest of her punchy pop hits and Chris Brown's performance was certainly visually spectacular but given the fact that I hate him and can't really get over his narcissistic rage issues, I couldn't really get into the song and dance.

There were some outrageous outfits (the rando. girl with the arm-gun) that were too weird to understand but overall there was a good fashion turn out by celebs.

Best Dressed:

I loved Rhianna's sexy custom-made Armani stunner. It left little to the imagination but it was almost understated compared to her past outfits. She looked beyond gorgeous and was definitely the best dressed of the night.

I also loved Jessie J's sparkly confection. It was perfect for the Grammy's and fit her like a glove.

Adele also looked stunning. Her red lips were perfect against her porcelain skin and I loved how simple yet stunning her black gown was. The sparkles were perfect for the evening and so her. She had the most stunning hair and makeup and the whole look worked.

I also loved Kelly Rowland's gorgeous gown. It was feminine, beautifully crafted and looked gorgeous against her skin tone.

Worst look? No, my pick isn't Nicki Minaj. I loved her high fashion look. She was definitely pulled off the Lady Gaga performance art fashion.

Worst dressed was Katy Perry. Her Elie Saab gown looked like it should and had been worn by Meryl Streep or Helen Mirren. It made her look old, dowdy and totally frumpy. It was so unflattering on her and the top was ill-fitted as she kept trying to pull up her shoulder. I'm all for dressing more maturely and not wearing something as costumey as she usually does, but there were so many other high fashion, figure-flattering, youthful gowns she could have chosen. Hated her look but love her!

What did you think of the Grammy's? Who was your best and worst dressed?
